Welcome to The Mug Tree!

We are a small, independent, family-run business in West Sussex. Established in 2014, Kathryn and Trevor run a traditional Tea Room in the heart of East Grinstead, as well as offering private hire, outside catering, local deliveries, afternoon tea and themed catering.

We are very proud to be a multi award-winning business, recognised as the UK's best breastfeeding venue by our customers in 2019-2020 as well as receiving Community Awards for our work in the local community.

Join us in person for delicious, fresh, homemade food - light lunches, tea and cake, cream teas and afternoon tea, sundaes and shakes - using the finest locally sourced ingredients, or why not order online to enjoy at home, either for a large gathering or just to spoil yourself during your lunch break when working from home. If you have a special occasion or birthday coming up we can provide themed catering both to dine in or delivered locally.

We also have gift vouchers available to purchase through our online store, so you can treat your friends and loved ones!
